Fashion: Owwww!!!

Fully submerged in "Wolf grey"! These are a prime example of a shoe you love to hate! Like Nelly said" give me two pair"after a few wears the soles turn mellow yellow. Just like the elevens. But if you missed out on the cool grey 11's these are a great compilation! Probably the best of the few Retro 5ive colorways to drop this year. They are set to release on the 14th this coming Saturday. Go support your local sneaker shop. *City Footwear*

Music: Lady Gaga... Gone Too Far?

Have you all seen the new video for Lady Gaga's single "Judas"? Many religious rights organizations, conservative groups and other judgmental folks are slamming Gaga for the new single but if you listen closely to the lyrics in her song, she isn't saying anything that is Anti-Christian. Being a devoted Christian myself, I took a look at the video and listened to the song after having preconceived notions due to the media frenzy. However, as I listened to the song, it is really about a young girl who can't seem to love the right man and she continues to go back to her "Judas" that betrays her and does her wrong.

Film: Thinking of Writing a Screenplay? Part 2

Your scenes DO NOT need to to be numbered on the page at this stage in the process.)

The below sample has an opening scene description of the office, moves right into some (centered) dialogue between the characters, who have already been established (earlier in the script) and follows a pretty simple format, which I also described last time.

The big difference is this screenplay went on to win the Academy of Motion Pictures 2000 Nicholl Fellowship** in screenwriting and was produced a few years later on the big screen starring Angela Basset and Laurence Fishburne.

Design: Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty

Alexander McQueen was a rare breed of designer, one that used fashion to instill ideas into society and push the boundaries of what was deemed acceptable. His love for art history, design and the arts really stood out in his amazing works that were created with such detail and expertise that they are all works of art in themselves.

The Metropolitan Museum’s Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty does a beautiful job of showing his genius by taking us into his mind and exhibiting not only his clothing but bringing the visitor into the at

mospheres and performances he created in his runway shows and presentations. Where as much of his work is very dark and battles ideas of good vs. evil and heaven vs. hell, the show successfully illustrates the more romantic side of McQueen’s personality. The designer, who left us in a very dark and dramatic way last year, was probably a very sweet and romantic person, the type of person that we don’t always associate with the themes he discussed in his work.

With Alexandre Mcqueen: Savage Beauty Andrew Bolton gives us a powerful view inside the mind of the designer. Where as I have sometimes thought that exhibits at the Costume Institute fell a little short of what they should be, with this one they do a terrific job of showing us the art of fashion and the the brilliance of this true Créateur. I have never met McQueen but I’m sure he was an incredibly loving person. His passing left us with a legacy that will be remembered as being that of one of the great geniuses in the history of fashion.

Fashion: Year of the Rabbit! (Bugs Bunny would be proud)

Ehh...What's up ...Hare Jordan... its the year of the Rabbit! And you better be just as Quick as a rabbit to get your hands on this May 7th release. These are extremely limited with only 300 released in China alone. Another great color way in the Jordan Retro 7. Very San Francisco 49ers. They should be sure to sell out before they hit the shelf.

Kelly Price returns with her brand new, self titled CD Kelly. Price just released a new video just in time for the album's release. Kelly's been on the scene for a while and is a true testiment to the power of real R&B music. Music with feeling, sentiment and meaning.
